We are partnering with a leading PE-Backed business in North Wales as they look to appoint a dynamic and driven Management Accountant to join them on their IPO journey.As a valuable employee within this multi-faceted, acquisitional group, the successful candidate will work within a team of Management Accountants and will be responsible for end-to-end Management Accounting for a designated business unit. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts for designated business units within the organisation.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to gather relevant financial data and insights for accurate reporting.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to drive business performance improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise financial processes and systems.
Qualifications and Experience:The role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual who is working towards a finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA). However, QBE candidates who have gained significant experience producing Management Accounts in a large, fast-paced business are also encouraged to apply. Previous exposure to working across a multi-site portfolio of businesses will be highly beneficial. The successful Management Accountant will benefit from:
