Project Accountant - Leeds/ hybrid, full time, permanent - Salary DOE.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Project Accountant to join a small but highly effective team in Leeds. Our client are a reputable and growing multi-disciplinary principal and main contractor offering a full turnkey solutions for HV and electrical bias work across the UK.
We are looking for a candidate that has some experience working within the main contractor/ major infrastructure, high voltage, construction or similar. Experience with CIS payments is also advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a key player in the Accounting & Finance department, making a significant contribution to the team and company performance.
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes
Analysing financial data and preparing reports for management
Contributing to the development of the company's financial strategy
Supporting internal and external audits
A successful Management Accountant should have:
A professional accounting qualification
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
