We are looking for a Claims Adjuster to manage Professional Liability, Financial Liability and Cyber claims from cradle to grave. This position works on a hybrid basis (2 days per week in London office) and reports to the Claims Manager directly.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate information on coverage, liability, and damages to determine extent of exposure to insured and company
Directly and closely monitor assignments to experts and defense counsel
Provide outstanding customer service and build longstanding relationships with insureds, brokers, and partners
Communicate coverage positions to insureds
Set and monitor reserves within authority
Report to reinsurers and other insurance partners
Support business leaders on an as-needed basis on claims and underwriting related issues
Attendance at mediations and trials, as necessary
Skills, Experience and Education
A minimum of 2 years' experience as claims adjuster in London market
Specific experience in handling financial lines and cyber claims
Knowledge of industry best practices and systems, including ECF
Strong relational skills, particularly in adverse or high-pressure situations
Ability to work independently
Experience of working with Lloyd's/Lloyd's certifications a plus
Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills; ability to deal with customers and business partners in professional manner
Ability to make prompt, intelligent decisions based on detailed analysis of complex issues
