Internal Audit Manager - FTSE 250

Audit & Risk Recruitment has been mandated to assist with sourcing an Internal Audit Manager to join a well known brand just North of London.

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will be part of a diverse audit team looking at the business and its processes through engagement with all levels of management across a multitude of countries and cultures, supporting the group in reaching its overall targets.

You will need to plan, execute, and report on audit assignments. Taking a risk-based and agile approach, tailoring your approach to the needs of the underlying assignment, you will evaluate the control environment and its effectiveness and make suggestions for improvements. You will provide valuable insights to management using analytics. Working with the business to ensure implementation of measures to reduce the likelihood of any identified risk materialising. You will also work on the continuous improvement of our own processes by learning about embedding agile, analytics and robotics.

The team are currently in twice a week, with parking provided and good public transport links to Central London and wider area.

To be considered for this role you will need:

Proven experience in risk-based audit and financial controls. While an ACA/ACCA/CIA qualification is ideal, prior internal audit experience of FTSE sized businesses is essential and P/Q will be considered.

Ability to learn quickly while working in a dynamic and potentially unknown environment.
Solution focussed, analytical thinker who adopts a flexible approach in an agile work environment.
Excellent communicator with the ability to build valuable working relationships across the Group.
Openness to working in an international context and a great team player who is also capable and comfortable working alone on assignments.
Fluent in English; any other European language, preferably German is a plus.
