In this role, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit team, supporting the Finance Manager with various bookkeeping and management account duties.

About the Role: As an Assistant Accountant, you'll dive into a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing sales and purchase ledgers, conducting bank reconciliations, preparing VAT returns, generating cashflow reports, and assisting in monthly spend reporting. This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth, allowing you to expand your expertise and take on more senior responsibilities as you gain experience.

• Support in producing monthly spend reports

About You: We're seeking candidates with AAT qualifications or equivalent experience in finance roles. As a member of a small team, you should be ready to hit the ground running with bookkeeping tasks, with supported training available to tackle more complex month-end and management accounting duties. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience with SAP is advantageous.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in transactional finance up to trial balance
• AAT qualification or equivalent experience
• Proficient Excel skills
• SAP experience (desirable)
