This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions. The role will report to the head of CLM and the Head of UK Consulting.

The successful candidate will lead our Financial Crime Consulting (FCC) practice, providing advisory and implementation services to clients. They will have a deep understanding of the latest Financial Crime law, regulations and guidance, exceptional client relationship and team leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements.


The Role and Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone with significant knowledge of financial crime regulation, the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit. You will combine project delivery know-how, a can-do attitude, and a strong network within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities include;

  • UK P&L for Financial Crime Consultancy with potential, if successful, to expand to global responsibility for the global Financial Crime Consultancy.
  • Management of existing and of new client opportunities. Building and maintaining deep relationships with key client stakeholders and delivery teams. Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within the KYC/Client Lifecycle Management Business Line and across the broader firm.
  • Oversight of teams delivering end-to-end Consulting projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. Provide delivery assurance for resources across multiple engagements, allocate resources effectively, monitor the financials of the delivery, including pipeline management of the team/direct reports (rolls-offs, extensions, new opportunities, and pricing).
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC's values.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise. Raise awareness of relevant client/industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation, and best practice. Lead on knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance methodologies, tools, and processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC IP.
  • Work directly with clients as needed to advise and consult on opportunities and engagements related to CLM Financial Crime

As an experienced Financial Crime Consulting Practice Lead, you will have:

  • Proven Consulting experience advising clients on Financial Crime regulatory compliance
  • Deep understanding of the latest Financial Crime law, regulation and guidance and how they are operationalised in Financial Services organisations through policy, procedures and technology.
  • Experience of managing client relationships with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution. This includes a blend of both capital markets expertise and a practical understanding of the overall project lifecycle.
  • Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live.
  • Experience managing projects and team members supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
  • You will come from a management consultant background. You must have a blend of both Financial Services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation and team management.
  • You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by leading ongoing operations, RFPs and managing a team consultants.
