Group Financial Controller (Interim)

Up to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

Contract - maternity cover - 1 year

Crawley, hybrid working

Our client, a forward thinking and progressive business based in the Crawley area are looking for a reliable, technically strong Financial Controller to join them covering a Maternity Cover until April 2025.

Covering the Group accounting you will be an integral part of the business overseeing the balance sheet, group consolidation, management accountants, reporting, budgeting and being a key contact for senior Stakeholders.

Day to day may include:

  • Review overheads across all UK companies
  • Review and reconcile balance sheet
  • Post prepayment, accrual and payroll journals
  • Prepare monthly forecasts
  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Manage annual budget process working
  • Preparation of monthly consolidations

We are looking for someone with prior experience within a similar role, ideally with experience in Group Accounting as well as:

  • Proven experience in contributing to the streamline of Finance departments
  • Excellent time and workload management
  • Experience with communicating and presenting with Senior stakeholders
  • Strong Excel skills
  • BI reporting would be ideal
  • Excellent team player
  • Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, desirable but not essential
