They have undergone significant growth and transformation, they are seeking a talented individual to join their finance team in the capacity of a Management Accountant with a specialisation in systems development. Position Overview:Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Management Accountant, focusing on systems development and enhancing reporting capabilities post the implementation of a new system. This role also involves the responsibility of producing management accounts for a subsidiary within the organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and streamline reporting processes within the newly implemented system.
  • Drive the development and implementation of enhancements to reporting templates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts for a subsidiary, offering valuable insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to finance team members on system functionalities and reporting processes.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, with some experience in producing or assisting in the production of management accounts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and systems; prior experience in implementing or upgrading financial systems or processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or VBA
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and data analysis functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capacity to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
