Billings Analyst - Weybridge

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000 per annum

Location: Weybridge, KT13 0SL - parking onsite is available

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months) - potential for it to become permanent

Work setup: Hybrid role - 3 days in office (Mon, Tues & Thurs), 2 at home

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7:30am - 4pm)

Job Description:

As a Billing Analyst, you will be part of the UK&I Controlling function, a dynamic team incorporating:

  • Controls and assurance
  • Financial reporting and accounting
  • Billing and credit management services

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely billing
  • Resolving queries & issuing customer statements
  • Performing review procedures to ensure an efficient process for prompt invoicing of unbilled receivables
  • Ensuring all customer orders are accurately invoiced

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Continuously review and challenge existing processes and procedures for opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Ensure successful implementation of standardised, simplified ways of working
  • Supporting completion of billing schedules with the support of Finance Business Partners and Controlling team to ensure customer invoices are completed accurately and on a timely basis
  • Analysing Unbilled Receivables and communicating effectively with the Finance Business Partners and Controlling

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for key internal and external stakeholder management
  • Highly developed analytical skills to examine billing data to identify billing issues and investigate billing discrepancies
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Billings Analyst previously
  • Motivation to work in accounting and further your career in this field
  • Experience using Mirosoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong team-player, happy to work later if required to ensure the work is completed accurately
  • Ability to work well under pressure and challenge the status quo
  • Degree in Accounting / related field (preferred)
