Management Accountant

Overview

Highly successful US owned company require part or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA Management Accountant for a newly created role at superb offices based at London Stansted Airport

About the role

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director the Management Accountant will be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts pack and profit & loss analysis. Key duties will include:

• Preparation of gross profit reports
• Profit & loss reporting and variance analysis
• Responsible for month end close
• Reporting on financial KPIs
• Month end, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Preparation of management accounts pack for review
• Monthly VAT returns
• Monthly update of the fixed assets register
• Preparation of working capital information
• Reconciliation and analysis of nominal ledger
• Preparation of monthly accruals and pre-payments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of year end statutory accounting in US GAAP
• Liaison with external auditors
• Ensuring compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley
• Management of the finance team

About you

• Applicants will be part qualified or qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA
• In addition you will have excellent systems including MS Excel
• Ideally you will have gained experience within a large international business
