Have you had previous experience in a Finance Systems focused role? Do you have a passion for developing scalable and reliable systems that ensure accurate financial data? Are you analytically minded with a keen eye for detail?

We are delighted to be working with an established, committed business based in Rubery. This evolving business is working hard to improve systems and processes internally and are now looking for a Systems Accountant to join their team. You will be joining a collaborative and dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a real impact on the business moving forward. You will play a pivotal role in the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of their internal systems. You will be the main point of contact for employees and expert of the in house finance systems to ensure seamless operations.

This role comes with an annual salary of up to 32,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the administration and maintenance of in house systems, ensuring data accuracy and smooth operations.
  • Accurately record and transmit data between systems and investigate issues.
  • Assisting with the creation of reports ensuring they are accurate and fit for purpose.
  • Supporting with projects and implementing new processes, ensuring systems are scalable and robust to support company growth.
  • Managing risks associated with financial systems.
  • Training the finance team and other departments, empowering them to leverage system functionality effectively.

Candidate Skills and Attributes:

  • Good knowledge of Finance through previous experience.
  • Extensive experience with systems. Prior knowledge of COINS, Salesforce and Power BI is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with intermediate Excel and data management abilities.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact efficiently and effectively with colleagues and third parties.
