Junior to Semi-Senior Accountant

A small, but modern and successful accountancy firm based in Melton Mowbray are seeking a Junior to Semi-Senior Accountant for a key job role with development prospects, flexible terms, study support and ongoing development. The firm are undergoing a period of growth and are looking to expand their workforce to deal with the workload. The salary is negotiable, will of course depend on experience and qualification level and is open within reason.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing management accounts
• Reviewing and submitting VAT returns on Xero software
• Prepare payroll on BrightPay and file reports to the pension regulator
• Digital filing and scan documents to virtual bookkeepers
• Preparing accounts and tax returns using Iris software
• Additional duties as may reasonably be required

Requirements:

• Any experience using Xero, SAGE, BrightPay and IRIS software, would be beneficial though not essential.
• GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (must)
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum 1 years UK practice experience
