Accounts Payable Assistant

Hitchin (Rural location)

Part time role - 2 - 3 days per week

Temporary role to cover a busy period for 1 - 3 months.

Are you available immediately and looking for 2 to 3 days a week?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly team on a temporary basis for an initial month with potential for extension.

You will be required to work in the office (near Hitchin) on Monday and Tuesday, with the option of a third day working remotely.

As the temporary Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be aiding in the processing of purchase invoices from inbox into AP Automation System, via approval and then complete posting into the system.

You will also be tasked with Reconciliation of supplier statements to purchase ledger accounts and working closely with the Accounts Payable Assistant to ensure that invoices sent into accounts inbox are processed fully and completely.

The role could suit an experienced finance person or potentially someone looking to gain experience such a graduate or AAT studier.
