Credit Controller

The successful Credit Controller will provide a credit control service to the company and its customers.

The role will involve:

• Build relationships with customers to provide an accurate, efficient and consistent credit control service.
• Manage the sales ledger accounts, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds and reconciling against invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery.
• Evaluate new credit requests including checking credit ratings to decide whether to allow credit and advising on credit limits.
• Perform ongoing evaluation of credit limits for existing customers to minimise risk of exposure to bad debts.
• Communicate with other departments within the organisation with regards to processing and despatch of orders dependent on status of customer's account.
• Set up new customer accounts, including web-based accounts, obtain references and customer confirmation of terms.

To be successful in this role of Credit Controller we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• Highly experienced in credit control practices and procedures
• Computer literate and able to work with accounting systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
