Interim Head Of Finance & Operations Leicester / Hybrid £700 - £900 per day - Inside IR35
SF Recruitment are working with an instantly recognisable Food Manufacturing business in Leicestershire who are seeking an interim Head of Finance & Operations to join the business for an ongoing period of time. The ideal Interim Head Of Finance will have extensive Food/Manufacturing/FMCG experience and enjoy working in a fast paced & high performing business. The Head of Finance & Operations will report directly into the Finance Director & form part of the senior finance team within the business. As the Interim Head Of Finance you will have 3 direct reports from different sites & provide support to the wider teams/sites - Ad hoc travel to various sites is also required.
The principal aspects of the role are: - Lead 3 direct reports and a wider finance team of 16 in delivery of all reporting requirements for the Category - weekly, monthly, annual reporting - Deliver the quarterly reforecasting and annual budgeting process - Own and deliver the 5-year financial model - Challenge and support on materials, labour and overheads across 4-sites - Financial modelling - Review Balance Sheets across 3 businesses and deliver bi-annual Group review - Control Capital including post capital reviews - Ensure PIP control and monitoring within Operations and Procurement - Deliver a consistent reset process for standards across all sites - Support End to End process with Commercial and Operational teams - Manage, motivate and drive team to deliver personal and business objectives - Ensure development and engagement of the site finance teams with full Performance
The ideal Head Of Finance & Operations will: - Qualified accountant, ACA, CIMA or ACCA; - Extensive experience within Food Manufacturing / FMCG - Demonstrate the ability to influence others at all levels in the Group; - have held a Finance Manager, Controller or Director role previously with demonstrable success. - Have experience of leading a team
