Accounts Assistant

Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our client, an Accountancy Practice located in Fulham on a part-time, permanent basis. A full AAT study package is included, with support provided throughout.

Key duties will include: sales receipts, collecting outstanding balances, sales ledger maintenance, supplier payments, supplier reconciliations and developing aspects of the CCH practice management system.

Accounts Assistant Position Overview

• Utilising Sage software for financial data entry, processing, and reconciliation.
• Assisting the Finance manager with the financial reports and statements
• Assisting in financial analysis using data from Sage software and CCH.
• Assisting in the quarterly Vat returns and OSS Returns.
• Assisting in processing receipts using CCH software.
• Consulting with clients regarding outstanding debts.
• Monthly meetings with client handlers regarding their debtors.
• Attending monthly meetings with the Finance Manager and Managing Director regarding credit control and producing report for the monthly board meetings.

Accounts Assistant Requirements

• Experience working within an Accountancy Practice
• Experience using Sage software
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, inquisitive and have good communication skills.
• Must live locally to Fulham

Accounts Assistant Renumeration

30,000 per annum (pro rata)

3-4 days per week

Hybrid (1-2 days from home per week)

25 days annual leave + bank holidays (pro rata)
