Audit Semi Senior

This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit Semi Senior to join a thriving Accountancy firm in their Audit department. The ideal candidate will have an audit, corporate client background and a keen eye for detail. You will be working in teams and should be able to carryout the fieldwork on allocated assignments.

This firm is known for its commitment to providing multiple service lines with a high-quality service to a diverse client base including corporate and NfP clients.

Description

• Support the teams in carrying out quality audit processes to clients in various industries.
• Prepare client accounts based on information supplied by clients.
• Assist in the planning and execution of audit fieldwork and statutory reporting.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Document audit procedures and cross-reference work papers.
• Collaborate with team members to set goals and responsibilities.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Continually update skills and industry knowledge, particularly with UKGAAP regulations.

Profile

A successful Audit Semi Senior should have:

• Full or part Accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Knowledge and practical UK experience of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills, specifically in MS Office and accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Must have the right to work in the UK
