| Description: | Our client, a highly sought after FTSE brand with a stellar reputation for kick-starting careers for ambitious and credible finance professionals, is looking to hire a talented Commercial Finance Analyst to join its ranks. This is a true business partnering role, working closely with Operational and Commercial stakeholders to help drive performance through decision support and analysis. The successful candidate will benefit from a flexible and supportive environment, where internal rotation and progression can be expected every c18 months for those who prove to add value. Main duties include: Analysing data to provide insight to help review and maximise actual performance Tracking and understand financial impact of action plans and projects to help drive these through to completion Delivering timely and accurate day to day reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting Analytical support and reporting commentary to the commercial teams to help make sounds business decisions Performing ad hoc analysis to help assess the success of trading initiatives Attending and contributing key meetings as required Key skills & experience required: ACCA/CIMA part qualified, finalist or newly qual (salary dependent) Proven track record in an Analytical role in a fast-paced environment Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand key business performance drivers Ability to present complex information in a simple and concise manner Strong inter-personal skills and can build professional relationships with ease Enthusiastic, positive and proactive engagement of key stakeholders Resilience, flexibility and able to cope with time pressure and ambiguity.
