Valuations Associate

A Valuations Associate is sought by one of the UK's leading investment vehicles who have committed well over 5bn in new investments since 2019. With over 150 individual debt and equity backed investments across sectors including infrastructure, environmental, digital, agriculture and emerging markets located all over the world, their remit is to achieve a financial return that can be reinvested to generate a greater impact.

The post of Valuations Associate is a newly created role that has been driven by growth. The role reports to the Manager - Valuations then to the Director. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with preparing / improving valuation models using various methodologies.
• Play a key role in the quarterly valuations process (initial focus on debt valuations).
• Develop and maintain valuation reports to analyse performance in new and different ways.
• Work with the Deal team to integrate new investments; ensure they can be accurately valued.
• A broad range of tasks to support the work of the Valuations team.

Candidates for the post of Valuations Associate will:

• Possess at least 3 years' Valuations experience, some of which has been gained 'in house'.
• Have a broad knowledge of valuation methodologies specific to private equity & private debt.
• Be a particularly advanced user of Excel and ideally have experience in Python and / or VBA.

Salary: 70000 - 75000 + 8% pension + 30 days holiday + benefits.
