Description: Senior FP&A Analyst

A fantastic opportunity to work with one of our growing clients within the consumer goods industry.

Location: Hybrid working - office located in London + 8 weeks fully remote working per year

Salary: 65,000 - 70,000

Role description:

  • Lead and support various aspects of the semi-annual budgeting procedures.

  • Develop scenarios for diverse product/market launches and growth endeavors.

  • Collaborate with international and commercial teams to meticulously comprehend CPA, future growth projections, retention rates, channel efficacy, resource allocation, customer profiles, and other pertinent details.

  • Conduct four weekly Periodic Business Reviews (PBRs) with key stakeholders to ensure focused discussions and prompt decision-making based on business performance.

  • Oversee the rolling forecast process, consolidating inputs from management accounts and business leaders to assess the business impact of deviations from the plan across short, medium, and long-term horizons.

  • Identify and evaluate business risks and opportunities, devising strategies to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities, and holding stakeholders accountable.

  • Regularly communicate and present analytical insights to senior management, highlighting findings that influence future strategies.

  • Prepare materials for bi-monthly board meetings.

  • Generate timely and high-quality deliverables for ad-hoc requests, internally and from the Board, encompassing cohort analyses, LTV & payback rates, retention metrics, margin drivers, cost-saving initiatives, working capital enhancements, and sensitivity analyses.

  • Propose and take ownership of specific departmental objectives each quarter, aiming to continuously enhance reporting processes, conduct critical analysis of business performance, foster forward-looking perspectives, and drive improved internal decision-making.

Skills / Qualifications required:

  • Full qualified ACA or ACCA or CIMA accountant with strongly recognised experience within FP&A

  • Highly proficient within financial modeling and financial storytelling from a financial perspective and visual perspective for non-finance professionals

  • Strong stakeholder management experience

  • Skilled within financial statements, P&L, Budgets, Forecasts and implementing change

  • A background working within a subscription based company would be highly advantageous
