Credit Controller

As part of the finance team the report directly to the Finance Manager and FD. The role will take full responsibility for the day-to-day credit control tasks while also assisting with the sales ledger transactional work and the Invoice finance facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Overall management and collection of debts
• Evaluation of new customers credit request and review of credit scores
• Setting the terms and conditions for new customers
• Ensure timely payment of trade debts
• Handling customer debt queries
• Follow up and chase overdue debt
• Negotiate customer payment plans where necessary
• Take formal action for the collection of overdue debt where necessary
• Aged debt and KPI reporting
• Production & distribution of weekly & monthly Invoicing
• Production and distribution of customer statements
• Processing Refunds & Credit Notes
• Assist with posting daily cash takings and other transactional posting to the accounting system
