Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant / Administrator to support the Financial Director in the running of the accounting function for the business.
Management of Pleo expense cards, daily checking and chasing receipts
Checking & filing quarterly VAT returns
Payroll, management of personnel records via Bright HR, hours weekly reporting
Experience / Knowledge
Ideally fully AAT qualified at a minimum with strong bookkeeping
You must be fully competent in Xero cloud accounting software (or QuickBooks)
Ability to create pivots/lookup/bespoke reports in Excel is essential
Experience in a similar role would be ideal as this role is integral to the smooth running of the business and the person appointed will have considerable responsibility for the accounting function
Ability to understand & analyse the P&L, Balance Sheet
Familiarity with reviewing T&C's, e. supplier contracts
