Role Title: Management Accountant

Contract: 12 Months

Location: Warwick / Hybrid (on-site expectation of 2-3 days per week)

Our leading energy Client are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to come and join their Warwick based Interconnectors team for an exciting 12 month engagement!

Our client are one of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world. Their diverse portfolio of low carbon and renewable energy businesses across the UK, Europe and US includes sub-sea interconnectors, liquefied natural gas, battery storage, wind and solar power.

They operate and own six interconnectors which allow them to trade excess power between different countries!

Responsibilities:

Joining the Interconnectors Finance team you'll work hand in hand with the business and ensure they and our leaders understand their financial performance, deliver insightful and accurate financial reporting and support with the forecasting process ensuring ambitious and deliverable business plans. We support the business to find opportunities to embed efficiencies that drive value for shareholders and consumers, and we provide insight and challenge where we see risks to performance.

About You:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Experience working within a matrix team structure
• Experience operating as a Financial Analyst including managing the monthly accounting and reporting providing accurate and value add reporting to the business.

Other key attributes:

• Ability to present finance to non-finance professionals and the desire to do more than simply report numbers
• Highly focused on process improvement and controls
• Financial reporting, planning, forecasting and risk management
• Focused on the detail, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• SAP experience (preferable)
