Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with our client based in Weymouth to assist them with recruitment for an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.

You will be liaising closely with the Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Manager providing month end support and analysis and reports for senior managements.

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Ownership of month-end and year-end processes for the general ledger;
• Management of financial accounts;
• Responsible for monthly intercompany reconciliations;
• Processing and posting transactional data;
• Assist with the year-end audit.

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Ideally studying towards accountancy qualifications or qualified by experience;
• Proficient user of Excel;
• A confident communicator who will question why;
• Exposure to month end duties and report building;
• Previous experience of ERP systems is desirable.
