About the Role:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We're on the lookout for a proactive Bookkeeper to join our team, based in Hornby, on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients, fostering enduring relationships built on trust and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily on-site bookkeeping for a diverse range of clients.
  • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
  • Implement Xero and 'app-stacks' tailored to each client's requirements.
  • Deliver accurate and timely management information to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in generating monthly accounts and reports to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Conduct reconciliation of balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
  • Prepare and post journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and more.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payments, managing accounts payable.
  • Manage accounts receivable and credit control to support healthy cash flow.
  • Streamline processes to simplify clients' lives and drive business growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified AAT or "Qualified by experience".
  • Full UK driving licence.

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in technology, including Excel and accountancy apps.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with Xero is preferred.
  • A hunger for learning and development to excel in the role.
