Management Accountant

Ventro, Firntec and LivGreen are an exciting group of companies focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit. Due to rapid growth, we are seeking a Management Accountant as part of our finance team based in Plymouth.

Key duties:

• Responsibility for completing management accounts and all balance sheet reconciliations
• Working with the operational teams to establish accrued and deferred income and work-in-progress
• Posting payroll journals
• Preparation & submission of VAT returns
• Construction Industry Scheme returns
• Credit card postings
• Managing customer and supplier retentions
• Liaising with year-end accountants/auditors and completing requests
• Posting of year-end adjustments to Netsuite to ensure statutory accounts reconcile with management accounts
• Management of the corporation tax position
• Providing business analysis and assisting with month-end reporting
• Assisting with payment runs
• Assisting with credit control if required
• Providing support as required across the finance function in a growing business
• Any other duties as required

Essential

• Self-starter & great team player
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work on-site
• Experience of working in NetSuite or similar business package
• Good experience of Excel
• Experience of working in a busy accounts department

Qualifications required: MAAT or equivalent
