Description:	Senior Management Accountant Blackburn Up to 60k Our exclusive client based in Blackburn are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the divisional Financial Controller you will have a varied role which will include oversight over accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash and bank transactions working with and mentoring the Group Accounts Assistant, ownership of key elements of each month end reporting cycle and the preparation of annual statutory accounts for entities within the group. Main duties include but are not limited to: Ensure accurate reconciliation of postings Managing a small team of Group Accounts Assistants. Ensure accurate reconciliation of allocated bank accounts in accordance with Group accounting policies, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monthly journal postings and ownership of monthly ledger reconciliations process Daily banking requirements, review and approval of payments Working with Divisional Financial Controller to develop improvements to financial processes and controls framework. Preparation of documentation of financial processes and controls framework. Liaison with external contacts as required, e.g. suppliers, funder auditors Month end review meetings with Group Financial Controller and Finance Director Overhead analysis and variance to budget analysis The ideal candidate: ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or finalist Ambitious and adaptable Confident and driven by deadlines Our local Lancashire Axon Moore team recruit all accounting and finance roles from CFO to transactional finance on both a temporary and permanent basis.
