Semi Senior Accountant

A leading firm of chartered certified accountants based in Chorley are looking to recruit a Semi Senior accountant. The firm deal with a wide spectrum of clients from sole traders, partnerships to limited companies. The firm offer a wide range of audit and accounting services both compliance and value added.

Accounts Preparation:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for a variety of clients.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all accounts prepared.

Tax Compliance:

Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Review tax computations, workpapers, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Client Services:

Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing support, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Collaborate with senior team members to identify client needs and opportunities for additional services.

Professional Development:

Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills through on-the-job training, self-study, and professional development programs.

Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.

• Part qualified ACCA or ACA, AAT level 3 or 4
• Commutable and local to Chorley
• UK citizen
• No requirement for sponsorship
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

• Salary up to 30k depending on experience
