| Description: | Assistant Accountant Cambridge (hybrid) £28,000-£32,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Cambridge based technology company for a career focussed and proactive individual to join the large finance team, in the role of Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the division manager, this role forms part of a large team, working together to produce accurate financial data and meaningful reports. Duties to include:
This client is looking for candidates with existing accounting experience, and with ideally a good understanding of double entry principles and general ledger accounting. They would like to hear from those with experience in reconciliations, and any exposure to journal entry, accruals / prepayments or balance sheet duties would be advantageous, however not essential. Candidates should also possess solid Excel understanding, with ideally experience using V Lookups and Pivot Tables. Those studying for an accounting qualification would also be welcomed and supported through their studies.
