We are looking for a new Financial Director.

Key responsibilities and expectations
  • Oversight and ownership of the Sentiem finance function, taking full responsibility for the management accounting and board reporting for all Sentiem entities.
  • Design and ownership of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages that are insightful, well considered and offer effective value-add reporting.
  • FP&A - Manage and deliver all aspects of forecasting, budgeting and modelling, gaining a detailed understanding of the various operational businesses, financial strategy and decision-making processes.
  • Development and maintenance of robust, efficient, and streamlined financial systems, processes and controls.
  • Critically review all existing processes, recommending and implementing enhanced processes aligned across the Group where appropriate.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements including the review of tax filings.
  • Coordinating the management of cash flow requirements across various operational businesses.
  • Determination of intercompany billing under service agreements.
  • Developing and leading a high performing finance team, providing coaching and an inclusive culture where team members thrive.
  • Pro-active help with other ad-hoc requests and initiatives.
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Investment management / private equity exposure with experience of working with complex, early stage / scale-up operating businesses.
  • A demonstratable ability to add genuine value to an organisation through sound insightful, financial reporting.
  • Sound professional judgement and attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • FP&A experience across diverse business operations.
  • Structured thinker and problem solver.
  • Diligent, with an eye for detail.
  • 4 - 6 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a multijurisdictional business beneficial.
