Major Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to be based in either Totton or Winchester, on behalf of our client, a group of accountancy firms that have been offering first class customer service to their customers for almost 30 years. With offices in Dorset and Hampshire our client offers a vibrant working environment that supports working relationships. Main responsibilities of an Accountant

• Focusing on client service and meeting the day to day demands of the clients
• Preparing and submitting statutory accounts, Vat returns and corporation tax returns from a variety of both manual records and software
• Reviewing client records

What does it take to be a successful Accountant?

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
• Confident using Excel.
• Be looking to develop their career in accounts
• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Be a strong communicator
