Part time accounts assistant who will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant with the day-to-day onsite finance processes. Main Duties - Ensure accurate and timely throughput of purchase orders and invoices. - Reconcile bank statements. - Reconcile monthly stock counts. - Provide admin support in raising of purchase & sales orders. - Processing for the management accounts - Monitoring of raw materials and utilities usage - General administrative duties: filing, photocopying, archiving, and shredding. - Attend to customer & supplier enquiries. - Assist in preparing audit samples. - Identifying and investigating anomalies and carrying out reconciliations. - Assist with group reporting requirements. - Provide support from site to central payables/receivables teams. - Provide support to site team with expense claims (cash and company credit card) - Supporting other site activity as required
You must have experience in accounts and a positive attitude and motivated approach with willingness to learn and strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. Part time hours are on offer and my client can be flexible with the hours being over 3 or 5 days and between 25-30hours. The salary of £25,000 is for full time so the salary will be pro rata.
