Description: | Senior Credit Risk Analyst Newport - Hybrid (once a quarter) Established in 1996 to provide flexible and accessible finance to SMEs across the country our client has since grown to become one of the UK's largest finance houses. From this continued success we are now looking to recruit a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to allow them to continue our exciting growth plans. Putting customers at the heart of everything they do, they are on the lookout for people with a passion for people: An open ear, a kind word, and empathy, as it's the way they do business with our customers that differentiates them. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will assist in the development of risk management processes, frameworks, and policies, and will analyse data to identify potential risk areas. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on risk levels to senior management, and for recommending appropriate actions when necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in a challenging and rewarding field. The role has three main areas of responsibility. The first is to contribute to the team's capacity to analyse and monitor risks relating to existing market and fixed income counterparties. The second is to carry out a range of credit and market risk monitoring, investigation, and reporting activities. The third is to contribute to static data control by carrying out BAU and static maintenance activities.
