TalentEdge are exclusively partnered with one of the largest Media conglomerates in the world and are seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join on a 6 month contract with a view to go permanent. My client have boasted tremendous growth over recent years and play a major role in partnering with blue-chip firms in over a 100 countries to provide dynamic and creative solutions. This role will be reporting into the Finance Director and has the opportunity to manage a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders holders and leadership teams to ensure a strong, precise controls environment is in place, further enhancing process documentation across the finance function
• Oversee the finance operation, with a strong focus in supporting Media Agencies with financial reporting including variance analysis, commentary and intercompany reporting
• Lead in the review and development of the Balance Sheet, ensuring Balance Sheet's are reconciled and reported accurately from Group Finance to Senior Stakeholders
• Be the Finance lead for internal and external audits, leading on the Group Audit, Interim and Statutory audit process ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SOX
• Partner with the Finance Director to further enhance and automate finance procedures as well as being involved with ad-hoc project work

About you:

• ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with experience in Audit from a big 4 or top 10 accounting practice and multiple years of industry experience
• Must have experience working for a large US listed business or FTSE organisation
• Strong knowledge reporting under US GAAP/SOX compliance
• Excellent MS Excel Skills
• Ability to work under complex environments, working towards strict deadlines and strong attention to detail.
• Experience within Media/Advertising is highly desirable
• Immediately available or 1 month notice period
