Description:

We are representing an established and growing commercial asset and property management firm, based in the West End who are looking to make an addition to their Finance team. The firm prides itself on its unparalleled experience dealing with assets within the retail and leisure sector.

As a Financial Accountant your key responsibility will be the managing financial reporting, analysis, and compliance for the firm's investment portfolio. You will be tasked with managing comprehensive financial accounting and reporting responsibilities across the Investment Management and alternative assets of the company.

Key Responsibilities (Not limited to):

  • Prepare and review financial statements for the company's investment portfolio.
  • Provide analysis and insights into financial performance, trends, and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Thorough knowledge of UK (FRS102)
  • Ability to produce standard Financial Statements.
  • Ability to produce and submit VAT returns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communicator (with junior and senior team members)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Xero + Caseware (desired)
