Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties is working with a not-for-profit business, looking for an experienced individual with a knack for handling financial transactions. Our client is looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a hands-on, dynamic team in Northampton.

Financial Accountant - Northampton (office based) - up to 45,000pa - Full Time - Permanent

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information
and ensure the business complies with all deadlines/reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities;

• Lead on production of Statutory and Management Accounts
• Prepare accurate financial statements
• Record and classify financial transactions
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Analyze financial data for insights
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• VAT & corporate tax return completion and submission in line with compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate profile;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Experience with finance software packages, preferably Sage 200 or equivalent.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
Highly organized and efficient with strong communication skills.
