A growing accountancy practice based in Launceston is searching for an Assistant Accountant to join their team in a role offering ongoing support, technical skill development and development path on offer within this highly successful firm.

Based in Launceston this chartered accountancy practice is undergoing ongoing growth and expansion. The firms client base varies across agriculture, construction, tourism, pubs, furnished holiday lets, commercial and retail businesses with a core turnover range of £250k - £1 million, whilst with clients well in excess of this on their larger clients.

Description

Joining the Launceston offices as an Assistant Accountant you will take on increasing responsibility for the hands-on preparation of year end accounts, tax, bookkeeping, VAT and wider general practice services to a mixed client base. There will be scope to carve a key position within this growing office and progress in your career taking on increasing client contact and portfolio responsibility. You will be fully supported, developed and encouraged to progress technically within this environment and the role offers an excellent opportunity for the right professional looking to further their career in the profession, with excellent prospects for further development and advancement post qualification, with a long-term career path on offer.

Profile

For this Assistant Accountant role you will be any of AAT qualified, or part ACA/ACCA, or experienced only throughout your career so far. You will have at least two to three years or considerably more accountancy practice experience in your career so across a mix across any of: accounts/tax/bookkeeping/VAT etc and be looking to further your career within the profession post qualification with increasing responsibility and progression on offer, as you carve a key position within this successful team and department.

Job Offer
