We're Mensis Accountants, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Accounts Assistant to join our close-knit hybrid/Gloucestershire-based team.

If you have a passion for numbers and love the satisfaction of helping small businesses thrive, this is the perfect change of pace for you.

What you'll do as our new Senior Accounts Assistant:

• Take ownership of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Guide and mentor our Accounts Assistants
• Collaborate with our tax and payroll team
• Build strong client relationships and enjoy the occasional client meeting over a proper cup of tea!

The ideal fit:

• Ideally, you've got solid UK accountancy practice experience
• You're a whiz with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage
• VAT returns are a breeze for you
• CIS returns are familiar for you and you re happy to learn more about them
• You're all about accuracy, proactive problem-solving, and meeting deadlines
• You re a friendly face to have as part of our team

The perks:

• Competitive salary: £27,000 - £30,000 based on experience
