Anderson Knight are delighted to be partnering with one of our valued clients to assist in recruiting for a Treasury Accountant.

Our client is respected across the UK and operates within a highly regulated and innovative industry.

The Treasury Accountant role will present the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders through all levels of the organisation, helping effectively drive the business through a period of signification investment and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and timely execution of the monthly treasury accounting, period end closing, budget, forecast and five-year model updates.
  • Half and full year reporting and the delivery of monthly reporting information for inclusion in the board report and for use by the wider finance function.
  • Providing accounting advice and recommendations
  • Liaise with business partners and finance managers on a regular basis to provide updates and advice on a number of accounting matters relating to treasury activities.
  • Interact with various areas of the business to understand the impact of material transactions that will impact treasury and the wider business.
  • Work closely with group finance and investor relations on external reporting requirements including preparing various account notes for inclusion in the annual report.
  • Communicate with external banks, external auditors and other external counterparties.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Fully qualified with experience in an operational finance role with exposure to issues of complexity.
  • Excellent knowledge of current regulations including IFRS / new UK GAAP, Hedge Accounting, Companies Acts, Regulatory Licences etc.
  • Good knowledge of core financial systems and general accounting procedures.
  • Adaptive to changing objectives and priorities to deliver timely and accurate results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
