Your new role

• Management reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary.
• Budgeting & forecasting: Support planning cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Financial analysis: Provide insights into performance trends, profitability, and cost efficiency to aid decision-making.
• Business partnering: Work closely with senior stakeholders across operations, risk, and compliance to support strategic initiatives.
• Regulatory compliance: Ensure reporting meets financial services standards, including FCA and other regulatory frameworks.
• Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance financial systems.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical knowledge.
• Proven experience in management accounting within financial services or a regulated industry.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) desirable.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
• Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
