Description

• Reconciling P&L and balance sheet to trial balance across UK, US & Hong Kong
• Supporting month-end close & resolving discrepancies
• Overseeing bank recs, journals, cost centre allocations, VAT returns
• Producing the weekly cashflow
• Managing stock postings & reconciliations
• Assisting with annual audit prep
• Leading on process improvements & reporting enhancements
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and team support

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ability to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant professional qualifications or working towards them, with study support available.
