Accounts Manager / Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities for Accounts Manager / Senior Manager Vacancy:

• Review accounts, corporation tax, personal tax, and audit work completed by the accounts team
• Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts produced by the bookkeeping team
• Supervise and mentor junior staff, identifying training needs and supporting development
• Plan work for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities
• Liaise with clients to review and discuss draft accounts
• Manage communications with clients, HMRC, and other stakeholders
• Build strong, effective client relationships and deliver high-quality service
• Identify opportunities to introduce additional services or support client growth
• Support practice development and contribute to the firm s ongoing growth

Key Requirements for Accounts Manager / Senior Manager Vacancy:

• Strong experience working within an accountancy practice
• Excellent technical knowledge across accounts and tax
• Knowledge of cloud and desktop accounting systems such as Iris, Xero, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and FreeAgent
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to manage staff, review work, and maintain high technical standards
