Our client, a friendly and well-established accountancy practice, is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to support with day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone with Xero experience who is looking for part-time work in a professional, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Input and process financial data accurately using Xero
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure records are kept up to date
• Assist with invoicing, expense processing, and basic bookkeeping duties
• Maintain organised financial files and documentation
• Provide general administrative support to the Accountant
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance at all times

About you

• Previous experience using Xero is essential
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry
• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Friendly, professional manner with good communication skills
• Ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time hours (3-4 days per week)
