Financial Accountant - 6 Month FTC

We are currently working with one of our clients based in South Cambridge who are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. This role is office based and would suit an individual with proven experience in a similar reporting or technical accounting position.

Typical duties include:

• Preparing statutory accounts accurately and within required deadlines
• Supporting external and internal audit processes
• Producing financial reports and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP
• Assisting FP&A teams with analysis and insight when needed
• Preparing budgets and forecasts, and delivering insightful variance analysis
• Undertaking additional ad-hoc tasks to support the wider finance function

You will have:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Strong attention to detail and solid understanding of accounting principles
• A robust technical accounting skillset
• Ability to manage your own workload effectively
