Position: Audit Manager
Location: Loughton, Essex
Package: 65,000 - 75,000 (higher DOE), hybrid working, wellness allowance, commute allowance, and more
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Audit Manager Job Overview

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
Review audit files and financial statements to ensure high technical quality.
Build strong client relationships and provide clear, proactive advice.
Supervise and develop audit staff, offering coaching and feedback.
Ensure audits are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Stay up to date with audit and accounting standards, ensuring full compliance.
Spot opportunities to add value and support business development.

Audit Manager Job Requirements

Must be ACA or ACCA qualified
Minimum of 5 years experience within Accountancy Practice
Must have experience in managing and leading juniors
Experience working with and liaising with partners
Capable of meeting deadlines
Cannot come directly from a top 4 practice. Experience in a mid-sized practice is preferred
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
