Our client, a leading public sector organisation, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Bedford with hybrid working options available. Key Responsibilities:
Providing strategic financial advice and support to various departments
Developing and implementing financial plans that align with organisational objectives
Conducting financial analysis to inform decision-making and budget management
Collaborating with senior management to manage risks and opportunities
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
Preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders
Identifying and driving efficiencies and improvements across financial processes
Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts
Job Requirements:
Strong experience in finance, ideally with a focus on business partnering
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in financial planning and analysis
Understanding of financial regulations and compliance within the public sector
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Relevant finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience
