Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts payable functions. This temporary position is based in central Manchester and requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Accounts Payable.

Description

• Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in preparing payment runs and liaising with vendors regarding payment queries.
• Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary reports and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures in the accounting & finance field.
• Experience using NetSuite accounting system or similar would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

• Salary between 30,000 to 33,000 dependent upon experience.
