Interim Head of Finance (Corporate Resources)

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Head of Finance to join a local authority in the South East of England. This is a 6-month contract role, with the opportunity to manage a team of 3 and oversee the corporate resources service area. As the Interim Head of Finance, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our organisation, leveraging your expertise in corporate finance and head of finance responsibilities.

• Proven experience as a Head of Finance, with a strong understanding of corporate finance and resources management
• Extensive experience in a similar role within a local authority (E)
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
• Proficient in managing a team and delegating tasks effectively
• Familiarity with local government processes and procedures
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW)
