Description

• Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely payments are processed.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain and organise financial documentation for auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team on projects and tasks.
• Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Experience in an Accounting & Finance role, preferably within the business services industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance would be advantageous
• May be working towards their accountancy degree
