Brief

My client is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer, with extensive Asset Management experience, to join on a 3-month basis.

You'll act as the SME for Power BI, responsible for designing, developing and optimising Power BI solutions to support critical reporting, analytics and decision-making across the business.

Candidates for this role must be available to start Monday 5th January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high quality Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and semantic models
• Lead Power BI best practice adoption across the business
• Manage Power BI governance, ensuring secure, efficient and compliant platform usage
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear, actionable reporting solutions

Essential Skills and Experience

• Strong, proven experience in Power BI development within an Asset Management environment
• Strong, proven experience in advanced data modelling, DAX, and data transformation
• Expertise with star schemas, dimensional modelling semantic models, and dataflows
• Solid understanding of data security, access controls, and distribution practices
• Experience with data sources such as Snowflake, SQL, Databricks, and BW
• Knowledge of Analysis Services / Azure Analysis Services; DevOps processes

Desirable Skills

• Python, PowerShell, Azure, Databricks, Copilot experience
